James is currently a faculty member and cataloging librarian for rare books at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is interested in the relationship between historical information technologies, current information technologies, future technologies, and their relationship to libraries. The blog is intended to explore the frontier of digital and analog communications through the lens of librarianship, rare books, ephemera, non-rare books, archives, manuscripts, wine bottles, amusing people, and anything else.
James’ CV is available here, as well as a few presentations and articles.
